The rental guarantee market is relatively untapped in South Africa, and offers an interesting opportunity that could see the enterprise and supplier development market grow exponentially. Underwritten by Old Mutual Group, SA Guarantee Specialists facilitates rental guarantees to the market by unlocking dead capital on the corporate balance sheet. ProfitShare Partners in turn, extends the unlocked capital back for these corporates to contribute to the funding of SMEs within its own supply chains.
This enables corporates to more efficiently achieve ESD compliance targets and to move beyond compliance by releasing additional capital for SME supply chain funding.
